Board Member

Annette grew up in Starke County and graduated from North Judson San-Pierre High School. She graduated from Indiana University South Bend with a degree in Business and Marketing. In 1999, the Prosecuting Attorney received a grant to add a Victim Advocate to the office and Annette was offered the job. Dealing with victims of crime as well as a criminal justice system was challenging. In addition, the position was grant based and included securing an annual grant.

In 2005 the Prosecuting Attorney was elected Judge and Annette was offered a position as a probation officer. For the past 15 years she has worked in that capacity and dealt with people struggling to overcome addiction. But it wasn’t until a family member overdosed and passed away that Annette truly understood the true struggle people face.

Annette became committed to learning new ways to interact and encourage people to fight the addiction. She is committed to helping Hope Restored Recovery Home get up and running and she feels it is an honor to serve on the board.
