Megan grew up in Plainfield, Indiana with her mom. At the age of 18, Megan began using drugs and at 19, became addicted to heroin. After two years of addiction, she entered a treatment facility and fought for a year and a half to overcome her addiction.

Since then, Megan has committed her life to helping people who struggle with substance abuse and addiction.…

Steve resides in LaPorte, IN and is the owner of the Hope Restored building where the Hope Restored Halfway House will be located.

When he was 13 years old, Steve decided that he wanted to somehow make a difference in the lives of people who were homeless and hurting. He waited patiently, and was presented the opportunity to buy a large, dilapidated building in North Judson, IN.…

He currently lives and works in the Hope Restored building as a head brewer at Bottleneck Solutions.

He is passionate about hurting people and rehabilitation, specifically through wellness and nutrition.

He worked at Knox High School for two years, and then taught for three years at an alternative high school in Knox called The Crossing.…

Wendy’s current role is the Intercultural Programs Liaison at the Center for Intercultural Learning, Mentorship, Assessment, and Research (CILMAR), housed in International Programs, Purdue University.

As a resident in Starke County for the past 30 years, she has had a lot of experience relating to families in many capacities.

Her passion is to help make a difference in others’ lives increased as she saw different statistics and general poverty while working as the Executive Director for Love INC, and serving as a CASA in Starke County.…

In 1999, the Prosecuting Attorney received a grant to add a Victim Advocate to the office and Annette was offered the job. Dealing with victims of crime as well as a criminal justice system was challenging.…
